As one of several Ausdances across Australia, Ausdance ACT is a voice for dance in the ACT.

As has everyone and every organisation, Ausdance ACT has been affected by the Covid-9 public health emergency. Our programs have gone on line or have been delayed or cancelled for 2020.

Our voice has been used to support dance with connections with other arts organisations and artists affected by Covid-19 and, very importantly, with ACT Government colleagues responsible for arts and culture and responsible for public health measures needed to control Covid-19.

We have provided the ACT dance community with current information about ACT Government Covid-9 public health measures, through our website and social media and directly to dance community members who have asked specific questions, seeking clarifications.

Ausdance ACT provides high quality, accessible and inclusive dance programs, from across all genres, which engage and inspire dance makers, performers, audiences, and other participants in the ACT and surrounds. See the PROGRAMS tab in this website for more information, and recent annual reports (buttons below).

Our services, 'normally', include:- support for independent professional dancers; help with career pathways for emerging artists; professional development and performance opportunities; and promotion of dance and dance education.  Ausdance ACT has special interests in the professional sector, youth, dance education and inclusive access to dance opportunities.

Ausdance ACT is proud to be supported by the ACT Government through Program Funding from artsACT.

Ausdance ACT is at Gorman Arts Centre, E Block/55 Ainslie Ave, Braddon ACT 2612.
