Ausdance ACT are bringing Felicity Arts to Canberra and during their visit we are pleased to be able to provide a one-off FREE workshop for independent dance makers.

Felicity Arts is an award-winning Production House at the forefront of emergent technologies and artform practices in Australia. Founded in 2007, it has created some of the world’s most innovate projects intersecting the perception of performer and space, including 3xperimentia and Future Memory.

Felicity Arts are coming to Canberra to work with students and teachers participating in our 2021 Youth Dance Festival as well as providing a workshop for independent dance makers.

This practical workshop will focus on collaborative filmmaking offering new perspectives in digital literacy, creation and making led by Amanda Phillips and Alexander Waite Mitchell of the award-winning production house Felicity Arts.

The workshop will focus on unlocking the potential of creating, teaching and learning through digital media - delivering your collective message in an authentic, relevant and meaningful way - on screen.

Participants will explore new pathways of engagement, connection and self-worth through refreshing perspectives and discoveries - looking at and within - the world. All participants will gain confidence through film as the medium for collaboration.

*Please note: places are strictly limited to one ticket per individual.

Workshop is provided to artists free of charge however registration is required via Eventbrite.
