KG is one of Canberra’s most experienced Hip Hop dance choreographers, teaching the style for over 15 years from beginner to advanced levels and all ages.
As a Hip Hop musician and performer, he has always incorporated dance into his live shows and has developed his own style of teaching that focuses on musicality, high energy and performance.
KG’s classes are very versatile where he teaches a mix of Hip Hop fundamentals, Urban choreography and Afro dance.
He is the Artistic Director and Owner of Passion & Purpose Academy in Gungahlin, where he teaches kids from 3 years to adult. In founding the school, the aim was to create a Multicultural dance school in Canberra, where students of all nationalities would feel welcome in an inclusive environment. The school not only teaches Hip Hop classes but Cultural dance styles too.
As a youth mentor, KG is committed to providing dance classes as positive outlet for young people to express themselves and gain confidence. He has seen how engaging in dance at a young age can truly transform peoples lives for the better.
