Connexions is a mentoring program for young Indigenous students established in 2017 by Ausdance ACT. The program runs over four sessions annually and enables Indigenous students to connect with each other and culture through dance.

Our tutors to date have included Tammi Gissell, Dean Cross, Steve Gow, Chip Lo, Bangarra Dance Theatre, Jo Clancy, violinist and dancer Eric Avery, elder Graham Davis King and NAISDA Graduates Shana O’Brien, Natasha Rogers, Jye Uren.

We run the program within school hours with our partners Namadgi School, Ainslie School and Majura Primary School. Connecting with and enabling other schools to join the process is our future aim.
