ABOUT
Ausdance ACT is the peak body for dance in the ACT headed by Director Dr. Cathy Adamek. We are part of a member-based non-for-profit national network and advocacy body, supporting independent dance artists, dance studios, dance teachers and dance education.
We are funded through artsACT to produce a series of programs that create public engagement and raise the profile of dance in the ACT:

Australian Dance Week, the biggest calendar of events in the country
Workshop Series in Partnership with Ainslie + Gorman Arts Centres
Youth Dance Festival, an event for secondary schools to create a dance piece in a professional theatre setting at the Canberra Theatre Centre

AUSDANCE NATIONAL
Ausdance represents the Australian dance profession. Ausdance is a network of organisations including Ausdance National, Ausdance ACT, Ausdance NSW, Ausdance QLD, Ausdance SA, Ausdance Victoria and Ausdance WA.
Ausdance National (AN) is Australia's peak body for dance. AN has a 44-year history of educating, inspiring and supporting the dance community to reach its potential as a dynamic force within local, national and international communities.
Over those decades Ausdance National established -
